About Dr. Kodu
With over 22 years as a board-certified pediatrician, Umesh Kodu, MD, provides comprehensive medical care for your child from infancy to young adulthood. At Penguin Pediatrics PLLC in Ashburn, Virginia, Dr. Kodu spends the time it takes to get to know your children and identify the root cause of their medical issues, rather than treating just the symptoms. A fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Kodu worked in pediatrics in the West Indies, New York, and Pennsylvania before relocating to Ashburn. He has a close affiliation with Children’s National Medical Center in Washington and has also worked at the Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Kodu graduated with his medical degree from the prestigious Mysore University in Karnataka, India. He completed his internship in pediatrics and his fellowship training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York.
When not assisting his patients, Dr. Kodu loves spending quality time with his children.
